This building was the winner of a biennial competition which Stirling Civic Trust held in 2009. The competition in 2009 attracted a strong entry, and was was for the Best New Building built in the previous four years in the Stirling County Area.
Not only is the design of the building in our view a very satisfying one. the considerable potential of some waste land has been cleverly realised to create something which is a real asset both to Stirling, and more generally to Scottish Cricket.
