The Scottish Civic Trust My Place Awards are unique in Scotland
in that they are a national celebration of good local design and
conservation as nominated and evaluated by local people. It is not
an 'industry' award.
In 2012 a Scottish Civic Trust My Place Award will recognise a
project that has had a positive impact in a local neighbourhood and
has delivered positive benefits to that community. Also, a Scottish
Civic Trust My Place Civic Champion Award will be presented to a
person who has made an outstanding contribution to their local
heritage.
The Scottish Civic Trust My Place Awards are supported by the
Scottish Government.
